Unawatuna Diving
Off the coast of Unawatuna, beneath the placid Indian Ocean lies a wealth of underwater wonderment, including coral reefs, shipwrecks, great variety of fishes and turtles. The turtles still wade on to the shore to lay their nests and eggs. For more experienced divers, there are a few wrecks and some underwater caves between Unawatuna and Galle.
Galle Fort
You can spend hours exploring the famous Dutch fort, go shopping at one of the oldest markets of Sri Lanka and the modern shopping complexes or you can enjoy the feeling of "the good old times" at one of the colonial-style hotels and restaurants.
